Artistic Process | posters for my classroom (2019)
As a Middle School Art Teacher, I emphasize process over product. One area I really stress is brainstorming - generating MANY ideas. Students often want to settle for the first thing that comes out of their head. I want them to practice creative thinking. I found myself consonantly telling students "It's a brain STORM, not a brain DROP. Let those ideas pour down like a storm." I decided my classroom needed a visual of it. That grew into an entire series about the artistic process,
